TSC Squad

compausopen.jpgOriginally 'Comp Team', the new 'TSC Squad' will be a 12 month long training program. Athletes will be selected for this squad during the first week of training or if they show significant improvement during the year. These athletes will be given the opportunity to train in NZ and the USA in what will be the start of an innovative multi continental snowboard program. There will be no additional up front cost for this program as we will charge a separate individual cost for any extra travel, competition entry, accommodation, meals and lift tickets as per trip or event.

Once selected, athletes will also be provided with help preparing snowboard resumes, networking sponsors and snowboard career guidance. Athletes will be selected for this program based on progression, competition aspiration and overall commitment to snowboarding. If a “squad athlete” can’t make an event/trip and a spot is open the next best athlete in that discipline will be given an opportunity to participate for that particular event.

The new structure will benefit all athletes, as they (Padawan, Ewok or Full-time) will now have the opportunity to get to as many competitions and travel as cheap as possible. (Costs will be split between each athlete). Everyone will be encouraged to express interest for local and interstate junior competitions.

We believe this will give all athletes something to aspire to and be selected for and will help push our progression across the board. It will also open up competition to all other TSC participants.
