Holiday Wrap

Rothy @ Super Happy Fun PlaceTSC kicked off the 2009 season in style in what was another event filled July holidays week. 2 comps, 25 new campers, and our own private park. Not to mention Mr Tom Pelley's usual shenanigans.

The week began great with a fresh 50cm the day before we kicked off. That was happily welcomed as the cover was getting a little thin. After a quiet car ride up with a few nervous boys, we where welcomed to the TSC house by Christine, Jimmy, Luke and Lisa... and a warm fire.

At the start of the week, it was all about getting to know each other and covering the skill groups for a good snowboard knowledge. The comp team on the other hand, where getting there jump on, training for the Thredbo Freeride Series.

The boys rode unreal with Iver, Woods, Rothy and Jack all stomping their runs.

As the week progressed, the new TSC private park began to take shape. Stu from the MBP(Mt Buller Park) provided us with some rails, shovels and a rake. The coaches and kids did the rest. This little area we have is amazing, and there is so much we can do in it. Each weekend we plan to set up new fetchers and rails, and in a few weeks, have our own jump.

Then by the end of the week, our hard work was used for the Cattleman's rail jam qualifying event. TSC won the 4 of the 5 wild cards into the competition.
So on the final night, after all sitting down at Uncle Pat's for some pizza, the boys that got into the event, Iver, Woods, and Tim, got their jib on the famous Mt Buller Village Rail.

All the coaches are super excited about the new crew this season. Their is a lot of fresh talent that will push the older crew and the standard at Buller.
This is going to be an amazing season.
